The staff, including Nijinsky, went above and beyond for our 50th anniversary celebration. Good food at the Grande cafe, although service was a bit slow. Convenient location near planned activities and train station. Reporter rooms have amazing bathrooms.

Had an amazing Christmas stay at this hotel! The location couldn't be better - right across from the train station and within walking distance of all the shops and attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of high-quality options. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The view from our suite was fine, overlooking the castle and Carlton Hill. Plus, the spa facilities were great.

The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, situated right next to Waverley train station and close to shops and attractions. Despite being away from the crowds, guests can still enjoy the fireworks at the castle. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with lovely views. The breakfast service is impeccable, and the staff is personable and helpful.

One downside is that guests are charged for wifi access, which can be disappointing.

We loved how this hotel had complimentary whisky and GHD straighteners in the room, really thoughtful touches. Our room was large and always spotlessly clean with fresh towels every day. The hotel is conveniently located right outside Waverley train station and in the town center. The staff were very friendly, and the toiletries provided were lovely. As a disabled guest, I appreciated the facilities and amenities that were accessible to me during my stay.

The service at The Scotsman was really good. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were attentive throughout our stay. They were very good too make us feel taken care of.

It's a great base for exploring the city, with easy access to the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, and the Fringe activities. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout the stay. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and well-maintained bathrooms. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. the hotel offers a fantastic experience for young holiday goers.

Some minor maintenance issues were noted, such as carpets in the hallways needing cleaning and nicks on the walls around doorways.

Loved the authentic feel of the hotel and the spacious room. The club sandwich I ordered through room service was delicious, but unfortunately, they forgot my chips. The location was perfect with great access to nearby attractions. Despite the small hiccup, I would definitely recommend Scotsman. Overall I had a great experience.
